B.A., American Political Studies from Drury University

I study American political institutions. My primary focus is on Congress and legislative institutions, and the presidency.  More specifically, I am interested in institutional constraints. I study how the institutions are impacted by rules and how they influence each other. My current work focuses on the constraints of term-limited state legislatures.
