Research:

My research focuses on social movements and political regimes in Latin America. Specifically, the influence of indigenous social movements on democratic and constitutional systems in the Andean Region and Southern Cone of Latin America.  I study the specific differences of these movements that impact the understanding of the political regime, public policies, and rights.
