Tocarra Williams, currently residing in Trenton, Missouri, serves as the Assistant Director of Student Support Services at North Central Missouri College. She earned a Master of Public Affairs degree from the University of Missouri in 2020, where she specialized in public and nonprofit management. Her dedication to community service and advocacy extends beyond her academic pursuits, as she has actively engaged in various nonprofit and animal welfare organizations, including with the founding of The Small Town Spay & Neuter Impact Project (S.N.I.P.), board service with Green Hills Animal Shelter and volunteering with Against All Odds Animal Resq. Tocarra's commitment to social betterment is further reflected in her roles on the North Central Missouri Children’s Advocacy Center Board, as a VFW Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 919 Volunteer, and her involvement in the Harrison County Kids Fishing Day event. Moreover, she has contributed her expertise as a First Gen Club Advisor at North Central Missouri College. Tocarra's research interests encompass critical areas such as Higher Education Access, Social Capital, Civil Society, and the Nonprofit Sector, demonstrating her passion for increasing understanding of these fields to benefit society at large.
