Truman School Statement on Racial Injustice

During the last several weeks, the injustice toward the Black community has once again come into sharp relief.  The killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor are only some of the most recent examples of the injustice experienced by Black people in the United States.  We affirm the statement by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration on behalf of its member accredited Schools.

Oded Gurantz receives prestigious NAEd/Spencer Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship

The National Academy of Education (NAEd) recently announced that Truman School Assistant Professor Oded Gurantz was one of the recipients of the 2020 NAEd/Spencer Postdoctoral Fellowship. Each year, 30 pre-tenure scholars receive a $70,000 award to further their research in areas addressing critical national and international issues in education. The award provides funding for fellows to focus on research and attend professional development retreats.
